Kalman Bekesi

Antecendent:
Instead of dancing I have been done sports from my childhood. I acquired different systems of movements - wrestling, running, yoga, table tennis etc. My first connection with arts was music as a performer singing and playing the guitar. Several poems of mine were published.

My current work is doing and participating in educational researches and developments. As a recognition of my achievement, I was rewarded by the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Education, in 2001. I work as an expert and leader in several Hungarian and international projects.

Argentine Tango:
I tried some dances out in courses (standard dances, boogie) before, but none of them wanted to study more profoundly. I 'met' Argentine Tango in 2003 - since that time tango have become a lifestyle for me.

In creating my own dance style I got support from different masters. I have learnt from Hungarian teachers and the best Argentinian masters all over the world. Beside teaching and dancing on stage I intend to improve my knowledge and style continuously.

Argentine Tango is a folk dance in the meaning that improvisation and spontaneity is the main concern of it. Although in shows dancing choreographies is hardly avoidable, I always look for the balance between them.

Passion and harmony - with a big emphasis on the second one!

Master: yes and no. I admire a few dancers such as Chicho Frumboli for their thorough knowledge and understanding. But on the other hand anyone have to create his own personal knowledge, because no way to receive it from another person as a 'package'.

Kamilla Szolnoki

I started to dance when I was 10. As an ice dancer I learnt all the ballroom dances and ballet dance - adapted to ice.

Between 1995 and 2001 me and my partner won the Hungarian Championship in Hungary, then the Senior Championship in Croatia. In the international field we were in the top 20. I first met Argentine Tango during this period.

For private reasons I gave up dancing until 2009 - when I again met Argentine Tango on floor :).

Masters: Endre Jeszenszky (ballet dance), Ilona Berecz (ice dance). I also learnt from Krisztina Regőczi, Klari Engi - Attila Toth, Muriel Boucher-Zazoui (ice dance).
